Hiya Scotty
I am thinking about buying a secondary fun summer car, but I also want it to be somewhat reliable
I am thinking about buying a 2003-2009 BMW Z4, what are your thoughts on this car? I know BMW is really bad as they age, but BMW sometimes screwed up and created reliable ones, would this generation Z4 be in that somewhat reliable category?
PS: I live in Vancouver, Canada

Sound like you want brand and you want a convertible.

Honda s2000
Maita
Porsche boxster
Lotus evora or Elise

Avoid the BMW.
Get yourself a Honda S2000 (later models) . It is the best of all.
