Going to change filter and trans fluid. Do I use Dexron III or Dexron VI. 200k. Was changed at 88k before I took possession. Dexron III is thicker. Dexron VI used after 2006, better viscosity.

Here's a GM technical service bulletin regarding Dexron VI. (In short, it is backward compatible with automatic transmissions that used Dexron III. It may not be compatible with power steering, manual transmissions, or transfer cases that specify Dexron III.)
