Scotty, I have a 2006 Honda Civic. I used the Gumout Tune up additive in my gas. It says on the bottle you can put one ounce per quart of oil and put it in with your oil. Is that safe or could it cause problems in an old car like mine. 168,000 mi. Thanks!

Don't do it, give your Civic an extra oil change instead.. "If it's not broke don't fix it!"
