Hey Scotty this Seville STS with the Northstar and a 4 speed auto. It has 133k miles on it and it was making a weird clacking noise on startup and long story short, the main timing chain tensioner was absolutely worn out. Now I like cars and decided to take this rebuild on myself and pulled the whole drivetrain out and disassembled the engine and sent my block to the machine shop. I bought a head stud kit that’s been proven to make these engines “bulletproof” and make these reliable. The cylinders and bearings looked good but I’m gonna replace the rings and bearings anyway. My real question is, is have you driven one of these Cadillacs and what do you think of them? They make a respectable 300hp and are very comfortable to me. If this fixes the head bolt and headgasket issue do you think it would be a good car? I bought a cometic mls headgasket for it as well. I’m doing a lot of research and I hope my first rebuild goes well. Any tips, thoughts, and opinions would be appreciated. Love your videos and I hope you never retire. HAHA!

Welcome to the fam!
Great work on your car there. I think as long as you take care of it, maintain it regularly, that's gonna be a great toy for you.
