2003 Chevy Venture idling fast

Hello Scotty!,

I’ve been enjoying your videos for years but this is my first time reaching out to you here.  I have a 2003 Chevy Venture with just over 75k miles, no that isn’t a miss type.  It sat for years in a garage in Ocean City to be used when they went to the beach.  We bought it from a mechanic who couldn’t figure out why it was idling fast.  I did my due diligence and checked your posts and then other posts on the web and YouTube.  Finally finding out that the Idle Air Sensor might be the problem.  I replaced it and it fixed the problem.  But now not even 2 years later it’s starting to idle fast again!  Do you have any other idea of what to do or check besides the idle air sensor?  Thank you for taking the time to read my post and if you do reply thank you!  Keep up your great videos!!

Andy

Well of course check for vacuum leaks. Don't make it idle fast. Also try my video. Make your car run better with a little spray cleaner. But realize you may have gotten a cheap part and a part may be broken again, especially if it was one made in China

Thank you, I’ll look for your video 1st and check for leaks and then if nothing else buy the part from someplace else!
