I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with 200k miles on it, runs like a dream if it wasn't for one problem. It idles at 600 RPM and I can't figure out why. I've replaced the mass airflow sensor, oxygen sensor, crankshaft position sensor, idle air temperature sensor, and cleaned the idle air control valve but nothing has fixed it. I am going to try to clean and/or replace the EGR valve next and hope that solves it, if it doesn't I'm at a loss. Any help is appreciated.
If it's insightful at all, it does have a cold air intake and a superchip installed on it. (the previous owner did both of those, not me)
Well with that mods all bets are off. Think probably isn't programmed right? If it runs okay otherwise fire you. I'd live with it. You starting to ranch nest if you're going to start messing with that stuff
