I have a 2003 F-150 4.6 L The #4 coilpac keeps going out frequently (every 2-3 k miles). What could cause this.

Be sure to replace the spark plug whenever you replace an ignition coil.

A bad plug can damage a coil and a bad coil can damage a plug.

What brand of coil pack are you using?

Only use OEM coil packs, aftermarket Chinese ones are crappy made. That might be the source of your issue. You didn't mention any brands, but if they're all aftermarket, that may be your problem.
