I have a 2003 F250 Diesel I bought for $6700 four years ago with 229K miles on it. It now has 275K miles on it. I installed new injectors, wiring and a tune (125 HP -Mild ) It runs even better now. Super Clean Truck. I really like it and I am wondering if installing ARP head bolts to strengthen it up at this point is a good idea. The truck is in such good condition ... not much if any rust underneath. Great for my Slide in Camper, 5th Wheel, Boat and Motorcycle towing.
Should I try to strengthen the motor or let it run it's course and swap in a better engine (what would that be? ) later on. I expect a $10K build or swap in the future. But, this truck is this good to me.
What do you think?
May I'd let it run x course cuz you really can't change just the head bolts you have to change the head gaskets to they're not made to be tightened and on tight and more than one time
