2003 ford sport trac fuel smell

I have an 03 explorer sport trac 200k, not throwing any codes but smells like fuel in the area of the fuel tank. I haven't seen any leaks just the smell.

Get new gas cap from Autozone and try.

Agreed, if it is not the cap it may also be dry rotted evap lines.
