2003 Honda CRV Noticeable issues when on hills

2003 Honda CRV - 200k miles - auto trans - 4cyl

1. When trying to accelerate up a hill the car struggles and shakes in pedals/steering wheel.

2. Loud bang/clanky noise when shifting from Parked or Reverse (to Drive) when on parked on a hill.

3. Car falls backward when on hills and in Drive without brake. (have to apply lot of gas to get up the hill.)

Are these signs of a transmission going out? What is the issue?

Thanks!

Yea it sure sounds like it. Don't put the car in reverse anymore if it makes that sound and check the basic things since it's seems like its low on power. Air filter, spark plugs, and have the fuel system pressure tested. Trouble on hills sometimes means your not getting enough fuel and fuel pump is wear out. I betting on the transmission is about to go but it's worth checking those little things just incase
