Hey Scotty,
I've been a mechanic just 6 years and all the cars ive owned and sold are Japanese. However going from yota dealerships to independent shops, I've worked on a lot if different types. Ive come to prefer Japanese cars so i want to know if the 2012 ford fiesta would be a decent car to buy used for my lil bro? It is only like 800 bux because a front end collsion. I know i can fix the stuff from thr accident, but i don't know if those cars came with good engines or transmissions. Car has 160k

They had notorious DCT transmissions. Look it up. There was even a class action lawsuit against Ford for their defective transmissions.
