What do ya think of a 2003 Lexus LS 430 with 136k miles for $3k pulling a homemade trailer of 1500lbs 1000 miles a week? Any issues on that engine or tranny for this car? Is it a non interference engine? Typical granny car situation.

Forget it, especially for your application.
Overall, they have very high maintenance cost. About your question: It has timing belt with an interference engine.
