Hey Scotty
First thanks for all the great videos. My question is about a used 2019 Ford Ranger XLT rear wheel drive I just purchased. It has a 2.3 liter eco boost with the 10 speed auto transmission and it has 35000 miles on it. I hear you talk about the turbo engine needing extra care. What would you suggest to keep the engine and transmission in tip top shape as far as maintenance and at what mileage? Also would you suggest getting a extended warranty with this vehicle? I have looked at endurance warranty and they offered a 100000 mile warranty out to 2026 so I would have 135000 miles or 2026 what they refer to as bumper to bumper coverage. Thank you for your time and all your great knowledge.

An oil catch can is a necessity on GDI engines. As others have already said, stay on top of maintenance and don't push your oil change intervals.
Install a oil catch can since carbon buildup will be an issue. Don’t be hard on that motor either. The 10 speed transmissions have their own set of issues. And @yaser comments are correct as well. And ALWAYS change spark plugs on time.
For turbo engines, you should change the oil religiously. For your car, change the ATF every 30-40k miles. I'm not sure about the extended warranty since they can do anything to avoid fixing your car under warranty and in the best case scenario, you should spend awful lot of time to get things done.
