I have a 2003 XRS automatic matrix. Majority of all driving is on the freeway it has 250,000 miles. When I put it in drive it stalls almost instantly. If I put it in reverse it will drive fine. Any suggestions of what the problem is?
Everything on the car is stock. I don't hot rod the car. I hardly ever hit liftt I baby it.
Again it's only and drive it does.

Could be a faulty idle control valve, I would also check the o2 sensors

Check the basics, start with the air filter, MAF, etc.
