Looking at an 03 Mazda 6 with 150k. Thoughts?

Engine failure and transmission problems are pretty common on that model. Also Mazdas of that period were known for poor rustproofing.
It's nearly 20 years old with relatively high mileage so problems are likely. At that time Mazda was partially owned by Ford and used a lot of Ford technology.
I'd pass unless it's verified as currently OK by a mechanic and being practically given away.
