Hello there,
New to the car scene. Just recently purchased a 2003 Nissan Sentra GXE. Previously only had one owner and was only serviced at the Nissan dealership. After purchase I took it in and they said I'd need to replace the trans. It jumps from 1-2 gear and 2-3 gear it chirps. I wanted a seasoned opinion before I try fixing(if I can) or replacing it. A seasoned opinion is that you should have had the vehicle checked out by an independent mechanic before you bought it, and you should now to find out what the problem really is.
