oil pressure gauge fluctuates

Hi, my 2003 crown Vic with 150k miles, the oil pressure gauge starts flickering once it’s warmed up and is at low rpm’s. It levels out when you press the gas. Hooked up a pressure gauge and it gets down to about 10 psi at idle. put a new timing chain and tensioners on it. Thought the tensioners were the problem since the housing of em were plastic. Replaced em with duralast (I think) ones which were also plastic and still the same problem. Also has all new bearings and a new oil pump. Any ideas?

Low oil pressure is typically caused by excessive bearing clearance or a defective pump. Were the crank journals checked to be within spec and clearances checked when the new bearings were installed?

Yes the bearings were changed because of a new oil pump that went bad originally then got a new pump and bearings were good then.

Is 10 psi oil pressure normal at 680 rpm when it’s warm?

It sounds low to me but you'd have to look up the specs for that engine.
