Hello, im looking into this 2003 subaru baja that has 331000 kms on it, he said he changed the heads, head gasket, timing belt, pulleys and water pump back in 2015, and then the car died and it was diagnosed with a bad fuel pump and has been sitting since. Is it worth it to buy for $2500 Canadian?
Edit: forgot to mention its the 5 spd manual version with the 2.5i engine in it.
If it fires up with starter. Fluid? Verify it's fuel issue. Who did the repairs? Lot of ifs.
Another important thing: check rusts under the body.
Interesting car in its days, … skip it, let it sit! It’s guaranteed it’s a rust bucket, too.

Love the Baja but I think this one is someone elses headache.
If you want to fix it, then they should get off of it VERY cheaply. You should not pay over $500 us for this car and even then there are ifs.
Try to start it with starting fluid and see if it fires. The 5 speed gearbox is the best part of it. I prefer automatics but Subaru CVTs and automatics can be scary. Especially at 200k miles on them.
