Hey Scotty,
I have a 2003 Subaru Forester, it has 120,000 miles on it and an automatic transmission. Doesn’t have any codes but it shifts hard into reverse unless I let it warm up about 5 min. It also has a shutter when slowing down to 35 mph. If I let it go below 35 mph and it down shifts I don’t have a shutter problem. The dealer I bought it from put new transmission cooler lines on it before I bought it but, they over filled it among other fluids that were over filled. But I drained it out and refilled with the dexron III the owners manual calls for. Should I drain it and change filter and put a quart of Lucas transmission stop slip in it? Or just live with it like I have been for the passed 2.5 years?
So has it gotten any worse over the last 2.5 years? If not I would not put the Lucas in.
No it’s stayed the same
