GM GENUINE 1534653 {#1534385, 23199274, 15-34653} Auxiliary Evaporator and Heater Hose Assembly

It's a 4 line assembly -- separated lines -- but the only leak is in the HEATER-COOLANT line running from front to rear.

Thinking about using a temp patch on it with JB WELD...fiberglass mesh over the weld once it cures and the probably another patch of jb weld again or a rubber tubing with hose clamps on both ends. It's a temp fix...there's no high PSI for that specific line...and the new part assembly goes form 1000.00 from GM dealer which I don't want to use. Can get same part from rockauto.com for under 400.00 if I can find a mechanic who doesn't minds NOT going with dealership parts only. My BIG QUESTION: will this JB weld patch idea keep the line from leaking for a few months until I get the right part? Thanks.
