- I believe my car has a hydraulic clutch. Let me know if I'm wrong, I called toyota and they didn't know.
- How do I determine which is failing, the clutch or the clutch wheel. It runs, when I let go of the clutch pedal it accelerates as if I'm slowly letting go of the clutch and when I go to second gear, if I accelerate too much the engine will accelerate but the car won't go any faster. I have to let go of the accelerator and accelerate slowly.

Could be either and if its only one I would still change both as its a decent size job to drop the trani . How many miles on the car?

Mileage on car? Possibly clutch is slipping. New clutch kit would come with new clutch, pressure plate, and clutch release bearing. Flywheel is questionable until you have the transmission and clutch assembly removed to inspect.
