I have a 2003 Tacoma with 296,000 it idles rough it cluckes when driving it sqeaks when truning
rough idle: Clean the MAF sensor and change the fuel filter.
For clucks, you should define where you hear it from. For the squeaking noise, start with checking your brakes.
You need to get the truck scanned to see if any codes come up. If its a subtlle miss or slight trumble...scanning will tell you roughly what to look for.
As for noise in the front end..heres a trick. try to have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth to duplicate this noise. When you hear it put yur hand on any steering suspension component to feel the vibration thru your hands. Becareful not to put your hand where it may get pinched and tell your helper friend who is turnng the wheel to NOT turrn the wheel any more back and forth unless told to do so. As you feel the vibrations you can move your hand and see if it gets stronger or weaker. Move your hand and feel the strongest point. Thats where to look.
