Hi!  Recently acquired a 2004 Acura MDX Touring  with 300,000 miles. It could use a little tranny fluid but Honda discontinued the OEM tranny fluid for this vehicle.

What other brand/type of tranny fluids can I use that are safe for this vehicle and that also wont break the bank? It doesnt look like Supertec is ok😂..

Thanks kindly!

Several online sites state that Honda ATF DW1 is the recommended replacement for the Z1.
For example, search: Honda the Other Side  Honda ATF-Z1 Equivalent?

Idemitsu is the OEM supplier for Honda/Acura fluids, they may still offer the fluid you need.

Honda discontinued the OEM tranny fluid for this vehicle.

fluids aren't usually discontinued. They are superceded, which mean that whatever replaces it meets or exceeds the specifications.
