I have replaced the valve cover, valve cover gasket, ACC Belt Idler Pulley, Drive Belts, and all drive belts, oil dipstick seal (Upper and Lower), oil pan gasket, oil filter housing gasket, ignition coils, spark plugs, ccv, thermostat, water pump, and the Disa valve. The car is running great with regular oil changes. In your opinion do you consider this car to be reliable and safe to drive lets say from Tennessee to South Carolina and back or are their other parts you recommend to replace to make this car reliable without the fear of failure?

make sure emergency equipment is in good shape.
No way I would cross country trip it. It may be running fine, but those German cars can change personalities QUICK.
I'd use it as a fun knock around car, but as a trip vehicle no way.
I would rent a midsize car for cross country trips
