- Hi all,
I have a 2004 Camry with the 2.4l engine, I’ve had the car for over a year and I’ve always had a rough idle of shaking and vibration. I usually get a misfire for all 4 cylinders.
here’s what I’ve tried so far:
changed spark plugs and ignition coils.
changed main ecu, as well as the mass air flow sense and air filter
changed motor mounts.
I’ve attached a video demonstrating the noise it’s making.

Does rough idle happen all the time or only when the engine is cold?
Do you have a code?
Did you pressure test the fuel pump?
