Hey Scotty,

I have a 2004 Toyota Camry XLE with 284,000 miles on it, I live in Wisconsin and I'm going to get a new starter at O'Reillys cuz the one I have is dying on me, they have 2 in stock but 2 different choices, the remanufactured one which is around $130 for the part, otherwise there's one that's $190 that's newer, which one should I get or does it not matter?

Thanks

If the remanufactured one comes with a decent guarantee, I'd do that. Starters are not that hard to replace if you get a bad one, unlike say, a heater core or fuel pump.

I've been told it's not a hard of a job, only takes like 10-20 minutes, you just need to take the battery, the filter, and few other small parts and your there, and only has 2 bolts together, Ill make sure it has a decent guarantee for the remanufactured one...Thanks 🙂
