I plan on purchasing a Chevrolet Colorado Z71 2004, 5 cylinder engine, it has a bit over a 100,000 miles on it, is their anything I should look out for about this vehicle?

Well GM quality is going to be but those can last for a while just make sure mechanic checks out both the engine and transmission closely
