Hi Scotty-  first I've got to say how much I appreciate your videos.  I like your attitude, ethic, and political perspectives!  Plz keep up the great work.

I've seen some of your videos using a manifold gauge set where you addressed general pressure.  I haven't found where you talk about the bubble window in the center of the manifold.  Does the view of a bubble stream still apply for R134A and R1234yf as it did for the "sight glass" that was part of a R12 system?  And can it be seen on a manifold set?

Are you talking about the glass in the center of the manifold gauge set that's above the center inlet hose? If so, that's there to help you tell when you've purged the air out of the system. There's a little pin near it that you press with a flathead screwdriver or something similar, and watch until you see liquid in the glass. The liquid is R-134a from the can. You'll also be able to tell when refrigerant is escaping, because water droplets will condense in the air when you press the pin. Releasing pressure on liquid R-134a inside the evaporator chills the air inside the car, only it's not releasing it into the atmosphere. When you see the liquid dripping under the passenger side of cars with the air on, it's the same concept in a closed system.
