Have a 04 Expedition 4.6L V8, I have no heat blowing though the front vents but have heat through the rear/roof vents. Temperature gauge stays in right in the middle so I don't think its a thermostat but not sure. Also both heater core hoses are hot to the touch. Has a brand new oem blower motor resistor and nothing changed.
Any ideas?

18-year-old plastic control flaps or actuators are probably malfunctioning.
