2004 Ford F150 Heritage Edition ABS and Oil Leak

Scotty,

Two years ago I bought a used 04 Ford F150 Heritage 4.2 ltr V6 with 190,000 miles for $2500.  It needed new shocks, new exhaust pipe, shocks, new front stabilizer bushings, new tires, new plugs and wires.  It still needs a new windshield and fix a leaky (water) rear window.

The ABS light pops on every now and then so I bought a new master cylinder and a used ABS module from pickers U pull it for $3 in hopes this will solve that issue.  First time around it was a bad alternator and the new one keeps the battery fully charged.

My second issue is that I lose oil between the engine and transmission.  I use a quart of oil every two weeks.  Plus I have this yellow foam that I clean out every now and then between the air cleaner and the valve cover in a tube that goes to the pcv valve and also around the oil cap and in the spout that goes down into the valve cover.  Most say it is anti freeze but in two years it has never gone down a drop.

Am I going to be putting too much money into this truck?

Can you post the vehicle issues into separate threads to get more visibility and answers? Also, it makes it more concise and easier to follow. Thank you.

I sorry you need a new rear main seal for the engine but you could try at 205 reseal poured in the engine oil that can sometimes fix the leak. Not a good trucks I wouldn't put a ton of money into it but as long as it runs okay They are better built than the newer ones
