Hope you're all safe up there after the storm a few weeks back. Bought a 2013 Chevy Sonic Turbo down here in Franklin a few years ago and after a year or so noticed the automatic transmission shifting kinda hard. My oil change place told me there was a bolt missing and trans fluid leaking. I took it right back to the dealership, but it was a Friday before closing time and was reassured if the bolt was missing that it wouldn't even be driveable now. So I just did some research as it's getting a bit worse and saw there's a level indicator bolt also up higher in these cars. My best guess is that's what the oil change place was talking about and now what do you recommend I do if so? 120,000 miles, bought at 80,000. If it's been missing this long and getting air, top it off and replace the bolt and get what I get...or can I make a run to Clarksville to see if this is the case? Thanks!
Well you never know if it was contaminated I would change the fluid if I were you and add the bolt
Thanks, I will do that!!
