Hey Scotty, I just picked up an 04 mustang with the 3.9l 250xxx miles. Great car but I have a exhaust manifold leak on the driver side I gotta fix but my question is, is their anyway to get rid of “the ford knock”?
Clarification: Can you clarify what you mean by “Ford Knock”?

Well the engine is knocking that means the engine needs rebuilding that means the bearings are worn and the Piston rods are knocking inside the engine and you should do that if you plan on rebuilding that engine. If not you just drive until it blows then you get another engine and don't attempt to rebuild that one because too much damage would be done
