2001 Lexus ES300 Check engine light

I got a 2001 lexus es300 Bought it from a private seller put about 10k miles onto the odometer it’s now at 88,800k  the check engine light came on looked up the codes with my scanner and after replacing all six coils like it said to do code still stayed on. Sometimes the light will disappear but recently hasn’t What could it be ? 


It might be helpful for us to know what the code is.

What is "it"? I guarantee that your scanner didn't tell you to replace parts, because those are misfire codes.

I bet it's no coincidence that all the misfires are on one side of the engine. (cylinders 2,4,6)
That points to the problem NOT being coils. Throwing parts at a problem is just wasting your money as you found out.

Did you check condition of the spark plugs before replacing the coils?
