Hello. My brother has a 2004 Honda Accord V6 with around 172,000 miles on it. The car brakes abruptly, it refuses to reverse when its put in reverse, and the car barely accelerates when I press the gas pedal.
I think I know what the problem is, but I'll like to get other perspectives. Thanks!
jack up the car and see if the brakes are seized/dragging

If it's an automatic, sounds his transmission.
Or brakes perhaps.
Is it irrelevant whether brakes are ABS or not they can still lock up? IDK
I have experience with drum brakes doing it.
The car doesn't have drum brakes
