My friends dad got a 2004 Honda Odyssey EX for 2k with 200k miles did he make a good purchase.

No. Major transmission issues.

I would say no. Their transmission, electrical components, AC, ... are problematic. One of the worst cars Honda made and is still making.

Yes, they have cam and transmission problems.
