2004 LS 430. 118k miles. $7,700. Immaculate. Thoughts? Should I buy? Offer less?

Take it to your favorite Toyota/Lexus mechanic first to have it thouroghly inspected and get his blessing ,rejection and/or list of problems before negotiations. It's a 20 year old car and is due for a timing belt replacement.  Time still takes it's toll even on the best cared for cars.

Will do, definitely. Thank you 🙏

My Boss used to have one that I drove now and then, sure did drive nice. Big bumps that I would really feel in my old 4Runner, that LS would just glide over.

As was mentioned by @jdavidm it is 20 years old, proceed with caution.

I have a 4Runner as 🤣 it’ll be funny to compare the two

If you have a 4th gen, those do ride better than my 98 3rd gen, but the Lexus in a whole other world of comfort.

I wouldn't think that's a bad deal from my point of view. But if you do buy it, be prepared for all the maintenance you would need to throw your money in to have this vehicle hold up overtime. Those V8s in that Lexus are strong as heck. But certain things like changing the belt and the starter, etc. could possibly be a real pain to take care of. So again, be prepared if you do wanna buy this. If you're not, you'll be facing the endless money pit without even knowing that you're facing it😆

The timing belt was replaced at 85k. Kinda early so not sure what to think about that. The guy says he did some work and if not him then mechanics he trusts. Also mentioned an issue with a miss and so replaced the ignition coils then the spark plugs…
