2004 ram 1500 4.7 leaking cooling but no milky oil and transmission it’s fine. What could it be ? Head gasket or cooling issue ?

What could it be ?
It could be a lot of things.
At 22 years old it's a good bet that unless every hose in the cooling system has been replaced you have one or more bad ones. Or, you might have a leaky radiator, leaking water pump, etc. Pressure test your cooling system.

Does your exhaust smell sweet? If so then it is probably a gasket issue. But I would check radiator, water pump, cooling lines, etc.
