2004 Ranger and BG Quick Clean for Engines

I recently purchased a one-owner, well-maintained(with regular oil) 2004 Ranger 4X4 4.0L with 60,000 miles.  I just finished cleaning and greasing the slip yoke with Motorcraft PTFE to get rid of the infamous "clunk".  My question is should I use this can of BG Quick Clean for Engines that has been sitting on my shelf for a while as a "preventive maintenance" measure before I change to full synthetic oil.

Well if you want to just do it once. It's not a good idea to continually use a flush and an engine. It's used to clean out sludge. If you change the oil regularly, there's no reason to use it. If your oil is not blackened look inside the engine with a boroscope and it's not full of sludge I wouldn't even bother

Thanks so much for your response. I'll leave the BG on the shelf collecting more dust and just start using full synthetic!
