2004 rav 4 has 190,000 miles. Should I just replace the injectors? The car runs well. I occasionally use fuel injectors cleaner, and this improves performance for a tankful or 2. Thanks.

Update: Yes. It doesn't run poorly, but it's a bit more sluggish Yes. It doesn't have as good a pickup. It doesn't run poorly, it's just not top notch.

So are you saying the performance gets worse 500/1000 miles after you use the fuel injector cleaner additive?

Do a pressure test on your catalytic converter.  It may be partially clogged and on the way out, especially on an 18 year old car.

Thanks
Worth a try.

Well, you probably would get a little bit better performance that way if you're willing to spend that much money

Thanks. I can do it myself. Still not as much as a car payment.
