I just acquired a free 2004 Sebring GTC. 2.7 L. I’ve heard a lot of negative reviews on this engine. Anything I can do to prolong the life? It was well maintained but but again I’ve heard these are problematic. At least the price was right. Key trouble spots etc,...much appreciated.

Change the oil every 3,000 miles and change the coolant and make sure it never over heats
