Scotty, we have a 2004 Nissan Exterra with 192,000 miles, V6 Automatic. I purchased this vehicle used with 125,000 miles. I had all fluids changed(oil, transmission, hydraulic fluid and radiator fluid). I have had all preventative maintenance performed to include new front brake calipers and rotors, radiator, starter, shocks, battery, tires and routine maintenance(oil changed/tires rotated). Plus and wires were also replaced at about the 130,000 mile point. The water pump and timing gear has been changed. First when purchased, secondly when water pump failed it was cheaper to have timing belt and water pump changed, which was done a third time last year due to water pump failure. The vehicle runs fine.
1. Should I have the transmission fluid changed to include filter cleaning/replacement or just have the fluid checked and add fluid if needed?
2. Should I have the rear end gear oil changed?
3. Anything else you recommend I need to have serviced?
Early thanks, John {black}:eat:
