- How do I identify a rear suspension part name?
- This part is a foot long with a decent size kind of square bushing.
- reminds me of a lamb shank.
- resides almost perpendicular to the fuel filter on passenger side and has a matching one on the driver side.
- been told it could be a trailing arm or a trailing control arm.
- if it is a trailing arm can the bushings be replaced?
- I have pictures.
I forgot to mention that I have 216500 miles on the car.

If you don’t have the service manual or a subscription to ALLDATAdiy, the the next best thing is to go to gmpartswarehouse online, and select your vehicle and scroll to Rear Suspension and check the blown diagram and find the part in question. That’s essentially what I do without a service manual.
