Every time I hit a bump in my 2005 Colorado my door locking mechanism goes off, then sometimes it will quickly light up and say door open on the dash then it will go away. How do I stop this? I think it might be some sensor gone bad.

Probably broken wires in the door harness, right where it bends back and forth.
