Hi Scotty .... I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan purchased "new" and have been using a "technique" not to turn the engine "off" if returning within "5 minutes".
At 65K miles, only major repair thru today, was a "water pump. I'm experiencing some oil spots in my driveway and my Mechanic "sez" head-gasket leak but "ok" to drive.... just watch your "oil level". If you want to use oil additive use the Lucas oil additive the thin one not the thick one
