Hi, I’m looking at a 95’ 2nd gen 4runner for sale with 200,000 miles, never taken off road. The only work done to it was a clutch replacement. It is easy to stall the truck starting out in 1st gear. Is this common or could the clutch have not been installed correctly? Also, could I add a torque converter and would it help? It is a 4x4.
thanks!
ps. They are asking $5,000 for it, is that too much?

- Well you can never believe people when they say the cholesterol is a place who knows if it was actually replaced. But that is a really old vehicle with a lot of miles on it unless you plan on rebuilding it I would not pay that kind of money because it's going to need work there's no arguing that.
