2005 Dodge Dakota V8 Quad Cab

Scotty; I got a 2005 Dodge Dakota V8 Quad Cab. It has new transmission, great history, but check engine light is on for P0420. I got the truck for only $1800, it drives great, 140000 miles. Thoughts?
