Good Evening Scotty. I have a weird question and have no idea what is going on? I have a 2005 dodge Dakota st 4x4 automatic 124000 miles on it. I had to replace the starter on my truck. Since it has so many miles and poor fuel economy. I went ahead and changed out the Spark plugs Coils And Fuel Injectors. Plus i had to put 2 new connectors on two of injectors on passenger side Wired the connectors like old ones top wire to top and bottom to bottom Of connector. Also replaced the pcv valve since old one broke when trying to remove to work on it. When i first fired it up ran just fine no issues. Took for a test drive no issues. Then this morning got in fired it up and within 10 seconds? I got two codes po 172 and po 175. it was Idling just fine and I could not smell or see any gas anytime leaking. What do you think problems could be? I used denso spark plus from rock auto along with standard motor products blue streak coils everything was from rock-auto Don't remember brand name of injectors. This evening i took off air box and could smell gas in the filter box. But air filter was dry and no sign of gas and filter not clogged. Was not over heating and my blue driver said o2 sensors were in a closed loop? Any help would be greatly appreciated since i had to do this due to money issues and wife being disabled. We can't afford to take it anywhere.
Thanks
Brian
