When driving van pulls to the right...and when I'm driving straight it will make a creaking noise over bumps...could this be tie rod

Go to a specialty alignment shop and get it checked.

It's 17 years old - have the front end checked for loose parts and alignment. Don't go to a stealership or a chain, find a good independent shop.
