transmission has a humming sound the faster u go the louder. when turning left humming softer when turning right louder. what could be problem? maybe axle shaft? humming coming from front of car. can't start off quick,and has shifting problems until warmed up. at stop sign car rolled back while in drive. humming sound increased over time. any help appreciated

My car is doing almost the same. It just does not hum when driving. It hums when the rpm is high at cold start and if I put the gear in drive it hums loudly.
Well definitely pray it's the axle shaft and not the bearings inside the transmission. Also, be sure it's not the wheel bearings humming to pinpoint that noise. Watch at my video how to find the source of car noises? Scotty
