Hello. I recently bought a 2005 Honda CR-V with about 280000 km on it. It has an automatic transmission. It seem to work well. I did an oil change ( I purchased the oil and filter at a Honda dealership) and within a day the engine light came on and it started going into limp mode around 2700 rpm. Code was p2647. I put a vtech spool valve on and the problem went away for about a week but it started to do the same thing again. Code is p2646. I should also mention that the VSA, antilock and yellow exclamation lights are on as well. Not sure what I should do next. Thanks for you time.

The ABS & VSA lights are probably on because of your CEL.
Was it inspected by a mechanic before purchase?
It was inspected one month before I purchased it
Find a good mechanic in your area who specialises in Hondas and take it from there. Did you read the link I posted?
I did read link you posted. Thanks. I Geuss I’ll be making an appointment soon.
Has the TSB already been performed on your vehicle? Since it’s a known fault..
Hoping it’s a cheap fix for you, mate.
Not sure if the previous owner had the TSB done or not. Hoping it’s not going to cost me too much to fix. At least I can drive it as long as I keep it under 2800 RPMs.
Decided to get an oil change again ( just did one 2 weeks ago or so). The old buggy been working good since. Maybe I got lucky, not sure but here’s to Hoping. Thanks for the all your help, much appreciated.
